The time has finally come to reveal the expansion notes!
This is, without a doubt, the most anticipated expansion of the year — and for good reason! It’s the biggest one we’ve ever done, and it also marks the first expansion since we switched to a 6-month update cycle. That means you can expect tons of content, side quests, quality-of-life improvements, new systems, and everything an epic update needs to be truly unforgettable. And of course: all of it shaped by your feedback.
We also want to highlight that we’ve re-evaluated and rolled back several systems — like the Card system 😢 — because we realized the community wasn’t fully aligned with our original vision. There were many differing opinions, and we listened! We ran polls, heard your thoughts, and followed the direction you chose.
This mid-year expansion brings a beautiful Eastern theme. In the new continent of Gangan, you’ll find references to various Eastern cultures woven into a mystical land full of secrets. Gangan is considered a spiritual continuation of the Dark Continent, linking the world of the living to the afterlife. There, you’ll face powerful monsters, uncover ancient relics tied to the Masters of Energy, and reveal hidden truths about the balance between realms. Get ready to brave storm-wracked islands, unlock sacred mysteries, and face dangers that push even the bravest heroes to their limits.
◈ Gangan End-Game Zone – A storm-wracked archipelago that bridges Kakele and the afterlife. Brutal mobs, mythic loot, and lore ties to the Masters of Energy.
◈ Saint Mardi Side-Quest – Descend into crypts beneath the cathedral, unravel its secrets, and unearth relics that tie directly into future story beats.
◈ Reworked Temple District – A full-scale art pass plus an all-new tavern social hub. Perfect for trade, RP, and tavern minigames.
◈ Solo Disconnect Safety – Lose connection while hunting solo? Monsters ignore you briefly so you can relog.
◈ Backpacks (new gear slot) – More carry weight + +5 slots per blessing. Crafted with Boss Tokens.
◈ Bosstiary – Record every boss kill for a permanent +1% Bestiary Buff per entry.
◈ Prey System – Every 20h a random monster turns into your prey: bonus XP + ATK + ARM. Re-roll for gold (cost rises until reset).
◈ Task Expansion (up to Lv 1500) – Choose Gold-oriented Monster Tasks or XP-oriented Item Tasks.
◈ Two Pets at Once – Double the cuteness, double the carnage (PvP remains 1). Pets now gain XP as long as you hit something.
◈ Monster Raids – Solo hunts have a chance to unleash a swarm. Toggleable in Settings.
◈ Enraged Hunts – Base XP +50% for risk-takers.
◈ Player Boost Rework – Entry cost slashed; price scales only if you chain boosts. Resets after 20h.
◈ Mount / Fortress buffs can now be dispelled – More tactical depth.
◈ PvP Instances – You may enter dungeons even while PK; 30s to claim your instance.
◈ Deadly Can Pet – Damage now respects Mana Shield.
◈ Vulture and Salamander Pets – These pets will get new spells to make them worth acquiring!
◈ Spell Resistance – Offers real protection vs. poison, burn, & more.
◈ Burn-Mana and Box-Building Tweaks – Better pacing for fights.
◈ Reflect Damage – Now reduced by Bestiary & other defenses.
◈ Friendly-Target Assist Revamp – Smarter, quicker ally selection.
◈ Gold stack is now 50,000.
◈ Bank slots increase by 50 for free accounts and 100 for premium accounts.
◈ Loot overflow now drops on the ground—never lost.
◈ Loot window shows total gold value of all items.
◈ Gold/Loot Server Boost removes NPC sell-cap completely.
◈ Quest-unique items can’t be thrown into loot by mistake.
◈ Rapid Respawn Boost – Global spawn rate +50% while active.
◈ Global Fortress War 2.0 – 8 → 4 → 2-island bracketed showdown. Winners earn 4h of every server boost. Reactivation now costs 500 Kakele Coins (was 100).
◈ Volcano Event Safeguard – No more outside interference mid-run.
◈ Troll attacks & clan timers – Slightly reduced for a steadier cadence.
◈ Golden Monster XP scaling – Now scales with party size (fair splits).
◈ Party Bestiary Credit – Everyone in Party Hunt now gets the Bestiary kill credit.
◈ Bestiary points visible on public rankings.
◈ Top ATK | MAG | SPELL banners – Track the realm’s legends.
◈ Bestiary progress – Lives in the bottom status bar.
◈ Poll system – Gathers richer data so your votes hit harder.
◈ Hundreds of sprite touch-ups – Let us know any stragglers!
◈ New voice-overs – For story arcs; older expansions now feature YouTube spoilers.
◈ Solo tuning – Pythos, Banshees, Hell quests tuned for smoother experience.
◈ Tutorial overhaul – Plus optional Starter Pack (premium days & cosmetics).
◈ Daily rewards track – Expanded with cosmetics for newcomers.
◈ ML-powered anti-cheat – Replaces the old screenshot blackout.
◈ Toxic chat filtering – Now more aggressive.
◈ General Help tickets – Let tutors swoop in faster.
◈ Guild War logs – Now viewable in the Global war servers.
◈ Gold & Bronze Memberships – Gain new mounts, pets, and exclusive cosmetics. Cards will have a smaller weight when the prizes are chosen.
◈ Kajin Helmet, Colossal Shield, Kajin Boots – Stat bumps worthy of their rarity.
◈ Energy Core drops added to Ancient Elves.
◈ Orc Berserker damage toned down.
◈ Ghorannon no longer teleports players to Energy Realm randomly.
◈ Hotkey bugs – Squashed; mail entries now show item details.
◈ Formatting fixes – In Kakele Coins list; touchpad sensitivity bump for mobile.
◈ Black screen bug – When taking screenshots is gone.
◈ Game performance – Improved on both client and server sides.
